Description
Street Photography, 2021 – Shibuya, Tokyo
Photographed by Goro – one loud image
In Japan, waiting is not only a thing.. in fact, it is part of the culture. Be it lining up at the ramen shop, be it on the escalator, waiting at the taxi stand, or at the store check-out. There are even lines for lines at particular popular spots where you have to line up before you get in line. Not that I would argue that the people especially like it, but at least nobody seems to take offense at it.
See how relaxed everyone stands at the red light and lets the Uber Eats bicycle go by. Is it because of the Police Koban right there, or maybe because you have a manga above the train station entrance to kill some time?
